An Ignatian, Silent Weekend Retreat for Men
Both the Spiritual Exercises and the Beatitudes promise that we are to be "happy and blessed" when poor, mourning, insulted, persecuted, and suffering injustice. We will explore what Jesus meant in the Beatitudes, how He lived these and how Jesus empowers us to also "be happy and blessed" wherever we struggle. Where we are not able to live the Beatitudes, we will begin to heal the underlying hurts so "in everything God works for good with those who love Him" (Romans 8:28).
Groups Attending: Individuals, Mazzuchelli's Men, Mercy Northshore (Sacred Heart & St. Philip), Holy Family, Catholic Community of Northbrook (St. Norberts/Our Lady of the Brook ), Joe Bussone Group (St. Mary-Sycamore)
