Summary

Our spiritual journey through the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous begins with our "foxhole" prayers and the discovery that the hand of AA is there to help us.  Upon reaching the Twelfth Step, we come to realize that we are the hand of AA, and our highest  priority is to be there for others who suffer in their foxholes longing for a way out.  All along the way, we are never alone.

Personal effects must be removed from rooms by 9:00 am on Sunday.  The retreat will conclude after lunch which is served at 11:30 am.

Description

A Retreat Leader leads the retreat and prepares thematic talks rooted in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius and the 12 Step Program. The retreat offers a unique time away with optional opportunities for a 12 Step meeting, confession, Mass, consultation with a spiritual director, and group prayer experiences. Recovery Retreats end after the 11:30 am lunch.
